TalkTalk has outperformed Sky and BT by offering lower prices for its Full Fibre 150 broadband package. The cost has been reduced from £25 to £24 per month, providing speeds of up to 150Mbps. Despite the seemingly minor savings, this offer is more economical than BT’s £25.99 for 36Mbps broadband and Sky’s £26 for 100Mbps package.
The key advantage of TalkTalk’s Full Fibre 150 is the 18-month contract duration, shorter compared to BT and Sky’s 24-month contracts. This shorter commitment allows customers the flexibility to explore better deals once the initial term ends.
In addition to the Full Fibre 150 offer, TalkTalk provides faster internet speeds with Full Fibre 500 for £30 and Full Fibre 900 for £36, albeit with a 24-month contract. Customers are advised to check their location’s speed availability on TalkTalk’s website.
While prices for TalkTalk’s packages increase annually by £4 in April, the benefit of shorter contracts remains. BT and Sky customers face longer contract terms and potential price hikes. Sky experienced an average 6.2% increase in broadband prices last year.
TalkTalk has garnered positive reviews on Trustpilot, with customers praising its efficient setup and customer service. Notably, customers appreciate TalkTalk’s responsive support and seamless installation processes.
Despite some minor issues reported by customers, the majority express satisfaction with TalkTalk’s service quality and prompt resolutions. This positive feedback indicates a high level of customer satisfaction with TalkTalk’s broadband services.
