Sarah Ferguson reportedly received financial assistance from Jeffrey Epstein for around 15 years and was said to have been one of the initial individuals to celebrate his release from prison. Recent claims have surfaced regarding the former Duchess of York, who was stripped of her title following an announcement by Prince Andrew that he will relinquish his Duke of York title and all associated honors. Not long ago, it was revealed that Fergie had sent an email to Epstein in April 2011, referring to him as a “supreme friend,” despite her previous public statements distancing herself from him and declaring she would have no dealings with him.
Following the emergence of an email in which Sarah expressed her apologies to Epstein for connecting him with pedophilia in the media, her spokesperson explained that she had sent the email under duress as Epstein had threatened legal action for defamation. This communication came after Sarah had vowed to sever ties with Epstein and expressed regret for accepting £15,000 from him in an interview.
Allegations have now emerged that Epstein complained to acquaintances about Sarah repeatedly requesting financial aid beyond the initially disclosed £15,000. Correspondence reviewed by the Daily Mail revealed that Fergie eagerly embraced Epstein, being one of the first to commemorate his release from incarceration, and even traveled to the US with her two daughters during that time.
During Epstein’s release in 2009 after serving a portion of his sentence for state charges related to soliciting prostitution, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were 20 and 19 years old, respectively—coincidentally the same ages as some of Epstein’s victims. Epstein faced further legal troubles in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges, ultimately passing away in custody before standing trial.
The ongoing scrutiny of Sarah’s association with Epstein is reportedly part of a collection of documents being reviewed by the US Congress, pending redaction to safeguard the identities of Epstein’s victims. The Daily Mail reported that the documents allegedly reveal Fergie’s requests to borrow significant sums from Epstein for various expenses, as well as her interest in visiting his private island.
Moreover, it is claimed that Epstein settled some of Sarah’s debts to a former employee but became displeased when she failed to repay him as promised. Allegations also suggest that Fergie maintained contact with Epstein, permitted his involvement in establishing a charity, and sought his guidance for public appearances, contradicting her public statements denouncing him.
Reports indicate that Epstein provided Fergie with guidance before her interview with Oprah Winfrey, with sources alleging that Sarah and Prince Andrew distanced themselves from Epstein following his conviction but were eventually cutoff by Epstein due to Sarah’s persistent financial requests. Despite Fergie’s regret over her past association with Epstein, she stands by her public condemnations of him, citing the 2011 email as an attempt to mitigate Epstein’s threats.
