Reports suggest that Andrew, who has consistently denied any wrongdoing, allegedly tasked his Met bodyguard, a member of the elite SO14 Royalty Protection Group, to look into Giuffre by providing personal details such as her date of birth and social security number.
Furthermore, it is understood that Andrew involved one of Queen Elizabeth’s senior aides, Ed Perkins, in these actions. He allegedly informed the deputy press secretary about his requests for damaging information on Giuffre from a personal protection officer.
The Mail on Sunday obtained an email containing these explosive allegations. In the email, Andrew purportedly mentioned Giuffre’s supposed criminal record in the U.S., a claim her family has refuted. The Met Police stated they are actively investigating these claims following public outcry.
Broadcaster Emily Maitlis expressed satisfaction that the authorities are taking action, emphasizing the importance of holding accountable those who may have made Giuffre’s life more difficult. She also highlighted Andrew’s continued communication with Jeffrey Epstein, indicating unresolved ties between them.
