Molly-Mae Hague Opens Up About Anxiety Struggles

Tommy Fury recently posted a family picture featuring Molly-Mae Hague and their daughter, coinciding with Molly-Mae opening up about using beta blockers to cope with anxiety stemming from relationship tension.

The couple, who both are 26 years old, crossed paths on Love Island back in 2019. They faced a brief split last year due to reported issues involving Tommy’s drinking habits and rumored infidelity. Despite the challenges, they patched things up. In a recent episode of Molly-Mae’s Behind It All series on Amazon Prime Video, she discussed how the strain in their relationship impacted her mental well-being.

In a poignant moment, Molly-Mae is depicted hanging up on Tommy during a tough phone call before candidly expressing her struggles.

She shared, “Even though Tommy and I have made significant progress and are in a better place, certain triggers still affect me deeply. Just hearing the word alcohol can make me extremely tense, shaky, and anxious.”

“I deeply care about Tommy and our relationship, so when things aren’t right, it becomes all-consuming for me,” Molly-Mae continued.

Describing a panic attack episode, she recounted feeling sick and overwhelmed, leading to the need for beta blockers due to heightened anxiety.

Despite these challenges, Tommy hinted at a positive turn by posting an Instagram snapshot of a family brunch where Molly-Mae is seen cuddling their daughter at a pink-themed café.

In another segment of the series, Molly-Mae converses with her sister Zoe Rae about their current living arrangement. Despite reconciling, the couple has been residing in separate homes.

Expressing her hopes, Molly-Mae stated, “Ideally, Tommy and I wouldn’t be living apart, and hopefully, by the year’s end, we won’t be.”

Zoe suggested a trial period, highlighting the need for a more unified living situation for the sake of their daughter, Bambi.

Reflecting on their conversation, Molly-Mae admitted, “The idea of consolidating everything with Tommy is daunting as our future together is uncertain. Currently, having two separate homes provides me with a sense of security.”

The couple, captured in a New Year’s Eve kiss, confirmed their reunion in May. Molly-Mae acknowledged that while their relationship isn’t flawless, they are actively working through their issues.

She added, “Many people believe having children strains relationships, but that wasn’t the case for Tommy and me. Bambi has been a positive influence on our bond, bringing us even closer recently.”
