Kelly Osbourne Honors Late Father Ozzy at Birmingham Awards

Kelly Osbourne became emotional while honoring her late father, Ozzy, at an awards ceremony. Ozzy, the iconic Black Sabbath frontman, passed away at 76 after suffering a heart attack in July.

During The Birmingham Awards at The Eastside Rooms, Kelly, daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, graciously accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of her father. She shared how Ozzy cherished his ties to Birmingham, expressing that his star on Broad Street meant more to him than his Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

Recalling Ozzy’s final concert, a charity event named Back To The Beginning held at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, Kelly tearfully recounted the overwhelming support and love shown by the community during his passing. She emphasized Ozzy’s deep connection to Birmingham throughout his illustrious music career.

With Ozzy having six children, three from his first marriage and three with Sharon, the Osbourne family continues to cope with the loss. Jack Osbourne, Ozzy’s son, recently mentioned in an interview that Sharon is struggling but appreciates the outpouring of love and support from fans during this difficult time.
