Kelvin and Liz, the owners of a farm, have joyfully welcomed a new member to their livestock. Viewers of the upcoming episode of Fletcher’s Family Farm will witness the heartwarming moment when one of their ewes gave birth to a baby lamb. However, tension arose when the ewe hesitated to clean her newborn.
Reflecting on the ease of the lambing process prior to the birth, Liz and Kelvin shared their thoughts. Liz expressed, “I believe this has been our smoothest lambing season to date. Last year presented more challenges; this year has been incredibly trouble-free.”
Observing the ewe giving birth, Liz expressed concern, questioning if the ewe would attend to the newborn. Quickly springing into action, Liz leaped over the fence to assist the lamb, emphasizing the importance of breaking the bag around the lamb’s face promptly to prevent suffocation.
In a different segment of the show, the couple introduced a new addition to the farm, a bull named Crowther, in honor of Kelvin’s late friend. Kelvin expressed excitement about having a male animal on the farm for the first time, remarking on the cows’ enthusiastic reaction.
Cutting to four months later, Kelvin noted the bull’s growth and emotional significance, explaining, “He is named after my dear friend who has passed away. Whenever I see Crowther, I am reminded of the cherished memories we shared. If my friend were an animal, he would be a bull.”
Kelvin mentioned sharing a photo of Crowther with his friend’s parents, who were pleased with the tribute. The synopsis for the upcoming episode highlights the Fletchers’ journey in their fourth year of farming, featuring lambing, the arrival of a new bull, and Kelvin’s venture into arable farming.
