“Darts Champ Luke Littler Open to £50M Jungle Stint”

Professional darts player Luke Littler has indicated that he might entertain the idea of participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial sum of £50 million was offered, despite his current reservations after watching the show this season.

The 18-year-old sports star has been closely monitoring this year’s series to support his friend, Angry Ginge, who is a contestant. Speculation about Littler’s potential involvement arose following Ginge’s appearance on the ITV show, with Littler mentioning that he would contemplate joining if the financial incentive was attractive.

When questioned about the possibility of following in Ginge’s footsteps, Littler mentioned, “Perhaps, if the offer is right. I could consider a brief stint.” However, he has since elaborated on the monetary requirement for his participation, expressing hesitancy about joining the jungle adventure with hosts Ant and Dec.

In an interview with talkSPORT, Littler expressed his change of heart, stating, “While I initially entertained the idea if the compensation was substantial, witnessing the challenges on the show has made me rethink. I don’t believe I could handle it physically.”

When asked if he would reconsider for £10 million, Littler declined. However, when the interviewer proposed a staggering £50 million, Littler responded with a tentative “maybe.”

Reflecting on his reluctance, Littler cited concerns about facing snakes and other challenges in the jungle, humorously remarking that he might fly over but quickly retracting the statement.

As Angry Ginge prepares for upcoming trials, Littler is gearing up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship, commencing at Ally Pally next month. The reigning world champion, who secured the title last year as the youngest champion in darting history, returns as the current world No. 1 aiming to retain the prestigious Sid Waddell trophy.

Littler aims to emulate Gary Anderson’s feat by becoming the first player in a decade to retain the championship trophy, starting his defense with a match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
