Charlotte Chilton has recently shared the online harassment she faced after asserting that Conor Maynard is her child’s father. The 34-year-old former Traitors actress initially claimed Conor was the father of her daughter born in October 2024. However, a DNA test in March disproved this, a result that was reaffirmed in another test conducted in August.
Despite the test outcomes, Charlotte remains adamant that Conor is the father. She explained in a recent interview that peculiar genetic circumstances, possibly related to early twin loss, could have influenced the test results through a phenomenon called chimerism.
In response to online attacks, Charlotte posted a screenshot of a hurtful message on Instagram, reflecting on the negative backlash she has endured. She expressed disappointment in Conor’s public handling of the situation, citing his premature disclosure of the test results and the subsequent public scrutiny.
Charlotte also raised concerns about the testing process, alleging that an unidentified individual was present during Conor’s sample collection and that the testing location was changed abruptly. She insisted that a court-ordered test to determine the child’s paternity was necessary, as she believed the previous tests were compromised.
Conor, in a separate interview, suggested that the situation could have been resolved privately. He revealed that his song “Cherry On Top” delves into his personal experiences, serving as an outlet for his emotions amid the controversy.
Efforts to obtain comments from Conor and Charlotte’s representatives have been made but remain unanswered. The ongoing saga continues to attract public attention and speculation.
