In the midst of the ongoing controversy surrounding Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s connections with Jeffrey Epstein, their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, have inadvertently become entangled in the situation.
Newly revealed emails suggest that Epstein financially supported Sarah and that she may have taken her children to see him after his release from prison in 2009. Despite these claims, Prince Andrew denies all allegations against him.
Epstein allegedly wrote to his lawyer in 2011, indicating that Sarah should deny previous statements and sought financial assistance from him. Sarah’s spokesperson denies any recollection of the visit described in the emails.
Reports indicate that in addition to accepting money from Epstein, Sarah requested to borrow a substantial amount of money for various expenses and expressed interest in visiting Epstein’s private island.
Following the surfacing of old emails, several charities distanced themselves from Sarah, who had previously praised Epstein as a supportive friend despite publicly disavowing him. Sarah’s spokesperson attributed her favorable email to fear stemming from a threatening phone call made by Epstein.
An adviser to Sarah mentioned that Epstein’s menacing threats led her to send the email in question to protect her family. Prince Andrew recently announced relinquishing his royal titles to avoid further distractions from the royal family’s duties.
As a result of Andrew’s decision, Sarah no longer holds the title of Duchess of York, which she had held for nearly four decades.
