Helen Flanagan has expressed frustration over the challenging co-parenting arrangement with her ex-partner, Scott Sinclair, which will prevent her from spending Christmas with her children.
During an interview at the Pride of Britain awards with Mirror, Helen shared her disappointment at not having any plans with her children for the festive season due to the distance between her and Scott, who resides in Bath while she lives in the north of Manchester. She described the situation as “really rubbish” and mentioned that they take turns caring for the children.
Despite her upcoming book detailing her life and relationships, Helen admitted that not having her children on Christmas Day feels “unnatural” and expressed her lack of anticipation for the holiday. To keep busy during the Christmas season, she will be participating in a pantomime as the Evil Queen of Liverpool.
On Christmas Day, Helen will be with her family, including her mother, father, brother, and his wife, along with her nephew. She mentioned that she is looking forward to having her children with her for New Year’s.
Helen and Scott, who were engaged in 2018 and share two daughters and a son, ended their relationship in October 2022. Despite their differences, they have committed to co-parenting their children. Helen revealed that she initiated the breakup, acknowledging the challenges of their on-and-off relationship and stating that they do not have a good relationship but still care for each other.
In an interview, Helen emphasized that she is done with the constant disagreements and complexities in her past relationship with Scott. She expressed the need for simplicity in any future relationships, highlighting the energy she has invested in co-parenting with Scott.
